What to Expect Next - Fall Season 2022

The Fall 2022 Season will be here before you know it! We are excited to have you join us and appreciate your support.

Communication is key to ensure the success of the league. Over the course of this season, we will be sending you emails with information you will need this season. Due to this being a mass email system, please check your filters to make sure that messages do not get lost in your junk mail folder.

Included are answers to some common questions you may have.

Fall registration opens May 1st, and closes September 4th. After the registration deadline, late registration is based upon availability and is not guaranteed. Once registration is full, we will build a waitlist and fill openings from the waitlist on a first come, first serve basis. A $25.00 increase in registration will apply and you will be placed on any team that has openings in your grade division. Buddy and Coach requests are less likely to be met during late registration.


SEASON START DATE:

FORT LAUDERDALE BEGINS ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8TH. ALL OTHER LEAGUE LOCATIONS BEGIN SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9TH.
FORT LAUDERDALE PLAYS ON SATURDAYS, ALL OTHER LOCATIONS PLAY ON SUNDAYS.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR FALL 2022:

May 1st: Fall registration begins

September 4th: Early registration closes, last day for guaranteed spot on a team. Late registration begins. Limit space, based upon availability.
  
September 5th until 1 week prior to start of season: We will be forming teams, confirming coaches, creating schedules, and more during this time.  
 
1 week prior to start of season: All rosters and schedules will be posted.

Week of October 3rd: Player's jersey, flags, and optional equipment purchased at registration will be arriving at Ship-To address provided at registration. 

October 4th - Mandatory Coaches Training: Virtual Coaches meeting for all coaches and team managers at all Florida locations. Volunteers will receive a team shirt and a game ball once background check clears and assigned to a team after registration closes. A separate email will be sent out to RSVP for the meeting with the Zoom link.

October 8th/9th: Meet & Greet day and first practice! Time and location posted 1 week prior to start of season under SCHEDULES / STANDINGS . Teams will meet the coach and participate in their first practice. Bring your mouth guard, jersey and flags! Please double check your player's roster in your Parent Dashboard.

October 15th/16th: 1st Day of games. Practice is held 1 hour PRIOR to game time listed each week. Check your schedule under SCHEDULES / STANDINGS or your Parent Dashboard.

November 19th/20th: Last game day of the season. Final Lombardi and Shula games per posted schedule. Madden playoff & Championship game times TBD.

November 26th/27th:  Off - Thanksgiving Weekend

December 3rd/4th: League make-up date. Need determined by Tyreek Hill Flag Football Management.


PICTURE DATES (TENTATIVE): 

Boca Raton: October 30th
Gainesville: October 30th
Hollywood/Cooper City: October 30th
Wellington/West Palm Beach: October 23rd

*Dates are tentative and may change or be removed from the schedule based on the # of players registered for Fall. Players are able to visit another league location for photos if unable to attend the date listed for the league they are participating in. Please let photographer know if visiting from another league location. 


EQUIPMENT:

Jersey, Flag Belt, and a mouth guard must be worn each week. Your jersey and flag belt, plus any additional merchandise you ordered during your registration, will be shipped directly to your home. Your player MUST have a mouth guard to participate. Bring your own, or conveniently purchase one ONLINE for pick up on site at the Game Day Tent for $5.

Shorts and/or pants without pockets are to be worn during games. If a participants wears shorts/pants with pockets, the pockets need to be taped down to prohibit a player's hand or fingers from getting caught in them when pulling flags. 

Players can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers. No metal cleats allowed.


MERCHANDISE CONCERNS:

If you are missing anything, received the wrong size, or have any questions in regards to your merchandise, PLEASE FILL OUT A MERCHANDISE INQUIRY FORM.


COMMON QUESTIONS:

WHEN WILL I HEAR FROM MY COACH? We are hosting our virtual coaches meeting prior to the season. You should hear from your coach before the Meet & Greet.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY EQUIPMENT? Once we complete putting teams together, we will ship the rosters to our inventory department who will begin to pack and ship out individual equipment to each player. You should expect your NFL FLAG jersey, flag belt, and any other equipment you may have purchased no later than your scheduled Meet & Greet. You must bring a mouth guard to every practice and game. They will be available at the field for $5 each week.
