The Spring 2023 Season will be here before you know it! We are excited to have you join us and appreciate your support.
Communication is key to ensuring the success of the league. Over the course of this season, we will be sending you emails with the information you will need this season. Due to this being a mass email system, please check your filters to ensure that messages do not get lost in your junk mail folder. Included are answers to some common questions you may have. Spring registration opens December 1st, 2022, and closes February 19th, 2023. After the registration deadline, late registration is based upon availability and is not guaranteed. Once registration is full, we will build a waitlist and fill openings from the waitlist on a first-come, first-serve basis. A $10.00 increase in registration will apply and you will be placed on any team that has openings in your grade division. Buddy and Coach requests are less likely to be met during late registration.

PARK INFORMATION:
The park charges an admission on weekends only. Entry per person is $1.50 every Sunday. Families are able to purchase a season pass from the park office for $2.50 per person to save on entry every week. To purchase a pass, please visit the park office, Mon - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm without having to pay an entry fee prior. Players and coaches will each receive a season pass for the park. Each family member in attendance will need to purchase a park pass for the day or season to enter the park.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE SPRING 2023 SEASON:
DECEMBER 1ST, 2022: Spring registration begins.
FEBRUARY 19TH, 2023: Early registration closes, last day for a guaranteed spot on a team.
FEBRUARY 20TH, 2023: Late registration begins. Limited space, based upon availability per age division. A late fee will apply.
FEBRUARY 20TH UNTIL 1 WEEK PRIOR TO START OF SEASON: We will be forming teams, confirming coaches, creating schedules, and more during this time.
1 WEEK PRIOR TO START OF SEASON: All rosters and schedules will be posted.
WEEK OF MARCH 27TH: Player's jersey, flags/flag belt, and optional merchandise purchased during registration will be arriving at the shipping address provided with registration.
MARCH 28TH @ 7 PM EST - MANDATORY VOLUNTEER TRAINING: Virtual meeting for all volunteer coaches and team managers for all Florida league locations. Volunteers will receive a Coach's shirt and a game ball once their background check clears and they have been assigned to a team after our initial registration closes. A separate email will be sent out to RSVP for the meeting with the Zoom link.
APRIL 2ND, 2023: Meet & Greet - Times and locations are posted 1 week prior to the start of the season under SCHEDULES. Teams will meet the coaches for 30 minutes then participate in their first 1 hour practice. Bring your mouth guard, jersey, and flag belt/flags! Please double-check your player's roster in the PARENT DASHBOARD.
APRIL 9TH, 2023: No practices/games due to the Easter Holiday.
APRIL 16TH, 2023: 1st week of games. Practice is held 1 hour PRIOR to the game time listed on the schedule each week. Check your schedule under SCHEDULES or your PARENT DASHBOARD.
MAY 21ST, 2023: The last week of the season will be our Madden Playoffs. All teams will have at least one game scheduled today. Exact schedules for this date will be posted after the STANDINGS are finalized. Madden teams may play an additional game for the championship game after the playoffs. Please note that Lombardi and Shula games may be adjusted to accommodate the playoffs schedule.
MAY 28TH, 2023: NO PRACTICES/GAMES DUE TO THE MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY.
JUNE 4TH, 2023*: League make-up date in case of inclement weather or facility issues during the season. Need to be determined by Tyreek Hill Flag Football Management.
*NOT ALL LOCATIONS WILL HAVE A MAKEUP DATE SCHEDULED FOR THE SPRING 2023 SEASON.

Players are able to visit another league location for photos if unable to attend the date listed for the league they are participating in. Please let the photographer know if visiting from another league location.
EQUIPMENT:
Jersey, Flag Belt/Flags, and a mouth guard must be worn each week. Your jersey and flag belt, plus any additional merchandise you ordered during your registration, will be shipped directly to your home. A $10.99 shipping fee will be applied during registration. Your player MUST have a mouth guard to participate. Bring your own, or conveniently purchase one ONLINE for pick up on-site at the Game Day Tent for $5.
Shorts and/or pants without pockets are to be worn during games. If a participant wears shorts/pants with pockets, the pockets need to be taped down to prohibit a player's hand or fingers from getting caught in them when pulling flags.
Players can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers. No metal cleats allowed.
MERCHANDISE CONCERNS:
If you are missing anything, received the wrong size, or have any questions in regards to your merchandise, please fill out a MERCHANDISE INQUIRY FORM.
COMMON QUESTIONS:
WHEN WILL MY PLAYER(S) RECEIVE THEIR EQUIPMENT?
Once we complete putting teams together, we will ship the rosters to our inventory department who will begin to pack and ship out individual equipment to each player. You should expect your NFL FLAG jersey, flag belt, and any other equipment you may have purchased no later than your scheduled Meet & Greet. You must bring a mouth guard to every practice and game. They will be available at the field for $5 each week.
WHAT OTHER EQUIPMENT WILL MY PLAYER NEED THIS SEASON?

WHEN WILL I HEAR FROM MY COACH?
We are hosting our virtual coaches meeting prior to the season. You should hear from your coach the week before Meet & Greet.
WILL THERE BE ANY PRACTICES DURING THE WEEK?
We are a recreational organization on a mission to make our favorite sport accessible, inclusive, and fun for every child who wants to play. Part of this mission is only requiring a 2 hour commitment from families each week, allowing them time to participate in additional activities. Therefore, hosting additional practices prior to the start of the season or during the season aside from the scheduled times on the designated day.
WE ALREADY REGISTERED BUT DID NOT ADD JERSEY LETTERING. CAN IT STILL BE ADDED?
Jersey lettering is available until the registration deadline. After the registration deadline, we no longer offer the option for jersey lettering to ensure delivery before the season begins. If interested in adding jersey lettering, please visit https://jerseyletteringguy.com/ and select your Season, State, and League, then enter your email address used for registration to find your player.
WE WOULD LIKE TO ADD SOME OF THE ADDITIONAL MERCHANDISE AFTER WE COMPLETED THE REGISTRATION BUT THE OPTIONS ARE NO LONGER SHOWING. CAN WE STILL PURCHASE ANY OF THOSE ITEMS?
Once the registration has been completed, the optional merchandise can not be added to the initial order, however, families are welcome to shop our NFL Flag Fan Shop at anytime to rep their team or grab some official NFL Flag gear!
ARE THERE PLAYOFFS?
Yes, for our Madden divisions only (4th grade and up). The top 4 teams in each Madden division will participate in playoffs the last week of the season. The top 2 teams will then play an additional game the same day for the Championship. All other divisions (3rd grade & under) will not have playoffs.
